Keaton French - CJ Smith Selected
The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) has announced All-NAPHL Teams for the High Performance and Elite Divisions, Consideration and selection is based on player performance in all NAPHL games throughout the 2018-19 season.
The Colorado Springs Tigers placed two players on the teams one each from the U16 and U18 teams.
Keaton French (U16) took the Elite Division honors in net as the young netminder was recognized for his season. French posted a 4-4-0-3 regular season record and turned in a impressive 2.04 gaa and .936 saves percentage.
CJ Smith (U18) made his mark in the U18 Elite Division on the blue line for the Tigers 18s who went 14-6 in the regular season. Smith posted nine points in his twenty regular season games and a impressive plus 17 in fifty games.
"Both of these young men come in and work hard every day to improve their game. They both play significant rolls on their respective teams and make a positive impact on teammates. We are happy for the recognition they have received and look forward to the continued development." stated U18 head coach Kevin Holmstrom
The Tigers continue to build for the next campaign with it spring ID camp set for April 26-28.
