Former Colorado Springs Tigers goaltender Jaeger Reed has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Saint John’s University in the MIAC.
Reed, 21, who played last season for Head Coach Mike Beavis in the NA3HL with the Texas Roadrunners appeared in 25 games and held a .904 save percentage. The 6’1/185 lbs. native of Crosslake, MN, also appeared in three games with the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL during the 2019-20 season.
Reed played the 2017-18 season for the U18 Tigers where he appeared in 27 games and posted a 9-10-0-1 record. “Jaeger was absolutely dedicated on and off the ice and most importantly a great teammate. Jaeger made a very positive impact on our team and culture with his willingness to learn and compete, we look forward to seeing him succeed while at Saint John’s” said Tigers U18 Head Coach Kevin Holmstrom.
