Tigers U18 Goaltender Cam Pendleton Recognized
The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the month of January. The players were selected based upon their performance during the NAPHL regular season games played in January in Indianapolis, Indiana, and head-to-head games at team sites. Peak Performers are only to full-time NAPHL Tier 1 members.
Cam Pendleton of the Colorado Springs Tigers was recognized as a Peak Performer amongst NAPHL goaltenders.
Pendleton from Little Elm, Tx. is in his first year with the Tigers program. The 6'3" 2002 goaltender went 2-0 stopping 65 of 67 shots for a impressive 97% saves in his two starts helping the Tigers to a perfect 3-0 record over the Arizona Bobcats January 16-17 in Wichita Falls, TX. Cam also represented the Tigers in the December NAPHL All Star Game where he was a perfect 11 of 11 on the night.
"I've really enjoyed my time as a Tiger" stated Pendleton. "I like all of our training and how hard we get pushed on and off the ice. My time in Colorado Springs has made me a better hockey player and a better person. Im hoping myself and the team can carry our current momentum in to the playoffs and ultimately bring home a championship for the Tigers!."
The Tigers are preparing for the NAPHL Dixon Cup Championships February 12-15 in Dallas, TX.
